About Us

Our Story

Furniture Design Assets is a digital design studio operated by CKing LLC, a Colorado, USA limited liability company based in Aurora, Colorado. We were founded on a frustration shared by many designers and archviz artists: too much 3D furniture available online is derivative, low-detail, or licensed in ways that make commercial use risky. We set out to build a catalog where every piece is verifiably original, produced to a consistent studio standard, and licensed clearly for interior, architectural, and real-time work.

Our Design Philosophy

We treat furniture design for visualization with the same rigor as furniture design for manufacture. A model that looks convincing from a hero camera angle but falls apart under a close-up render — or that ignores real material behavior, such as how brass tarnishes at the edges, how upholstery folds under its own weight, or how cast glass refracts light — undermines the scene it’s meant to support. Every asset in our catalog begins with a design brief grounded in an actual point of view, not a generic template.

Our Collections

Our catalog is organized into eight design directions, each representing a distinct point of view rather than a loose stylistic label:

  • Quiet Luxury Minimalism — restrained silhouettes, tactile natural materials, and a palette built for large, high-end residential and hospitality interiors.
  • Biomorphic Organic Forms — furniture that borrows curvature and proportion from natural forms, suited to gallery-forward and editorial interiors.
  • Retro Revival 60s–70s — pieces researched against period production techniques, for projects that call for an authentic mid-century point of view.
  • Woven Brass & Wrought Iron — metalwork-forward pieces exploring texture and craft, from hand-forged silhouettes to woven brass detailing.
  • Colored Glass & Cast Aluminum — light-driven pieces built around how cast and colored materials behave under natural and artificial lighting.
  • Modular & Design-for-Disassembly — systems designed around the sustainability principles increasingly demanded by commercial and institutional clients.
  • Game-Ready / Real-Time PBR — optimized, physically-based assets built for real-time engines, VR walkthroughs, and interactive configurators.
  • Archviz Hero Pieces & Room Sets — fully composed scenes for teams that need a finished room, not just a single asset, to anchor a hero render.

Our Process

Every model moves through the same pipeline before it’s published: original design research, high-detail modeling and UV work, physically-based material authoring, and a rendering pass to confirm the asset holds up under real studio lighting rather than a single flattering angle. Archviz-ready assets are built and checked for high-poly detail and accurate real-world scale; game-ready and real-time assets are separately optimized for polycount, texture budget, and PBR compatibility with modern real-time engines. We do not repurpose a single mesh across both use cases without doing that optimization work — a decision that costs us production time but keeps every asset genuinely fit for the pipeline it’s sold for.

Originality & Licensing You Can Rely On

Every asset we sell is either produced in-house or created in partnership with commissioned designers under exclusive licensing agreements — never scraped, traced, or resold from third-party marketplaces. For studios and firms that need to represent their project sourcing to clients, this matters: you’re licensing furniture designed specifically for this catalog, not reselling someone else’s asset with an uncertain chain of rights. If a licensing question ever comes up on a project, our team can document the origin of any asset in our catalog.

Who We Work With

Our clients are primarily interior designers and architecture firms producing client-facing visualization, archviz studios building hero renders and walkthroughs, and game and VR developers who need production-ready furniture without building it from scratch. Whether you need a single accent chair or a fully dressed room set, our catalog is built to drop into a professional pipeline with minimal cleanup.
